Ally Watson - Wedding Day
Ally married Andrew on Sunday 24th of April 2022.
It was a perfect day in every way. A true celebration of joy, love and commitment.
As part of the ceremony Ally requested two pieces of music by Debussy. She grew up listening to me playing Debussy and even tackled some of them herself.
Clair de Lune
Firstly, Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy for the walk down the aisle with Lisa and I. A slightly truncated version - but carefully crafted to fit into the split second timeline organised by the wedding planner.
Arabesque and Anthem for A&A
Secondly, for the signing, a piece which combined some more favourite Debussy with a compositional element from me. This became the "Arabesque for Ally and Andrew", starting with the A section of Arabesque #1 in E major. This is then extended by my own "Anthem for A&A" built around a repeated pair of A's reflecting Ally and Andrew's strong and loving partnership.
